Flood proofing new shed

Thanks all for the thoughts. The house will be better prepared for a future event with flood barriers etc but the whole area is low lying so we can’t do much outside and don’t expect much from the EA which couldn’t even manage an adequate flood warning until we were already underwater. I think we all stared in disbelief as water rose relentlessly over a couple of hours. Still, we suffered far, far less than has poor Spain.
As for the shed, I like the idea of a floating pontoon one but i can see that turning into some sort of Grand Designs shed folly unless I’m very careful with the cash.

Pontoon tanks and two poles with collars should be a workable solution.
I do think there was something along this line on Grand Designs a few years ago - on an island in the Thames??
