first turnings

Hi thought i would post a couple of pics of my first attempt at turning, i found some spalted wood in my firewood pile and thought i would have a go, They are two diiferent designs of candlestick and a t trout prst in oak, hope you like them.ie

If ever it warms up I want to do more woodturning this year especially goblets and small lidded boxes with finials.

Not on these, i agree its a bit cold for working in the garage, but i will carry on , thanks for the kind words. regards Karl

Hi , Good first go , Are they decorative only ? The candle sticks

I would advise against using them as the base's are very narrow and could easily be knocked over
