First turning in over a year!

I think the lathe's motor may be on the way out, but it started working properly so I quickly did this, reminded me of what a joy it is to turn a nice piece of wood!

Apple, about 9" diameter, finished with grape seed oil.

Very nice. My son has just dropped me off a very large trunk of apple, I've sealed the ends for now until I decide how to cut it up.
