(I import Italian olive to the UK)

Are they still grubbing up Italian olive trees by the million to combat the evil bacteria infection? If so, is that what you are exporting? It hasn't got into Greece yet, as far as I am aware, but it is probably just a matter of time.

No, the stuff I get is from the south of Italy and they don't have any disease at the place I get it from. I've been importing for a few years now. It's basically when they "coppice" the trees to encourage new growth of olives, so sustainable.

Doesn't get much more amazing than a blind wood turner !! I can't even imagine closing my eyes for one second whilst operating these machines !!!!

Saying that.... I actually tried closing my eyes today... Managed 3 seconds... That's enough for me, done it, got the t-shirt.
