Are there any opinions amongst this list regarding the current free 14 day trial of Fine Woodworking Online.
It seems very attractive and is clearly designed to gain future subscription. However, I'm always reluctant to quote a credit card number for a so-called free trial although FW claim it is easy to cancel at any time.
I have confidence in FW but credit card numbers floating about the aether worry me. What do you reckon?

I joined last year, great site and no worries on the card.

Have just renewed it for the second year.

I've been joined for about 4yrs and find it a very useful resource. You do have to give your credit card details and they will take money from you on the 15th day. But IMO it's worth the fiver a month. You will gain access to almost every single article they ever printed. Plus videos, plans, blogs, etc, etc.

What are their plans like?

I buy FW every now and then when I see and interesting article, I do like some of the Arts & Crafts and Shaker style stuff they do. If they have plans for that kind of thing I'd be tempted to join up

I've never looked at the plans tbh. It's not like a library of plans, just the odd one that accompanies an article.

The best way to use the offer is to sign up, then place a reminder on your computer 2 days before it expires and download as much PDFs as you need then 2 days before the end cancel and there is no charge.
