I recently adapted a five glass pond to use for our new ducks. This involved fitting a drain to the flat floor of the pond. During the week it started leaking and today I lifted it out of the ground only for it to crack. I've attached photo of the cracked pond.

I've never used fibreglass but I would appreciate advice on how best to repair this.

Many Thanks

30+ yrs working with GRP, mainly turbine blade tooling, so heres my 2penneth....

More photos please, mainly whats on the other side.?
How thick is the converted(?) pond.?
Whats the white goo around the drain thingy.?

If it broke/cracked just by lifting it out to see where the leak was then it doesn't sound very strong anyway.

The best bit of advice i can give right now is dont even think about any sort of grp repair in this weather. If the ducks need a place to waddle then i'd suggest just lining the 'duck pond' with some heavy duty plastic sheeting/tarpaulin for the moment.
