Festool Platin 2 Abrasives

Can anyone sell to me, one or two pads of each grit, in the 4923XX Festool Platin 2 Abrasive 150 mm (6") foam pads range??

I understand that these pads are supplied in packs of 15 and that a package of assorted pads is not available.

No one sells this product out here in New Zealand, as far as I can ascertain

I am wanting to clean/polish some Turner cellulose acetate knobs/handles

Have you looked for a local auto refinishers? Festool sell to the paint trade.
But there must be a different named alternative abrasive surely?

AFAIK Platin 2 is identical to Mirka Abralon - you might be able to get that more easily than Platin? There are sellers on eBay.co.uk who sell the pads / grits individually, though I don’t know about international shipping.

Thanks a million.

I was able to find a 5-pack of assorted sizes (500/1000/2000/3000/4000) on Amazon.

They are on there way to me in NZ. I am now a Happy Chappy =D>
