Has anyone bought the MFT accessories to make there own?? I'm after the aluminium profiles and the pivoting and locking guide brackets. Loads advertised in the states but nothing over here.

Can you post any links to what's available in the States as I'm (a) not too sure what you mean but (b) more importantly having also got a second-hand MFT I'm interested in add-ons.

BTW - do you have any play at the end where the guide rail rests on (ie the end opposite to the hinge). I can move mine about 1/2 - 1mm.

Cheers

Roger. I don't own the MFT. I want to try and build one into my mobile workstation. Just as i posted this, i found a UK site and probably find loads more too.

here's a link to the exploded diagram and spare parts list.

I have been using the angle unit for my crosscuts but i would like a more fixed 90deg built into the bench.

Great idea and a great link!

I've got a couple of the Festool guide plates as I plan to find a way to mount one of my non-Festool routers to it so that I can easily :D cut dado's

Roger. Do you have any, or could you take any close up photos of the hinge support and locking support brackets just so i can get my head around how they work.

ok mate. I may be on idea prototype number 3 by then but it'll be good to see how it all works.
