Festool CT36E AC vacuum - the planex model

I read somewhere (but of course can't find the reference now!) that it is possible to use the CT36 AC vacuum and accompanying hose with the more common RTS and ROTEX sanders, which I have several of. My 36mm hose has a difference connection on the end than the one that will connect with the Planex drywall sander. Is this correct? Or do I need to purchase a whole new hose? Or is there a part/adapter etc. that can be attached to the existing hose to accommodate the RTS/Rotex connection? If anyone is able to answer these questions and provide the part number or hose number that I need to purchase, I would be most grateful.

I haven't used this, so I can't offer any recommendations, but Festool does offer a 36mm to 27mm reducing sleeve to allow the larger hose to connect to the tools with 27mm fittings.
