Hello , this is my first post. Having already caught the festool bug/addiction with the TS55, MFT 800, CTL 22(with handle/hose storage), OF 1400, RO150, GECKO DOSH-Set and the C12 with the depth stop, eccentric and angle attachments , I wanted to know if anybody has got a CS 50 trimming saw or ever used one ? As I cant find any reviews .
Thanks Steve

Hi Steve

Warm welcome to the forum.

Nice to see another Festool addict in Shropshire

Someone will be along soon to help you out i'm sure.

Regards

Ben

Steve

Welcome to the forum. Sorry can't help with the trimming saw.

I've got its big brother, which is a fantastic bit of kit which I'm very pleased with.

Haven't tried the CS50, though.

Thanks for all the replys .didn't mean to "gloat" but I started off with the TS55 and rest is history .Spoke to the dealer today and he said that he sold very few .Mainly want/need it for its light weight and because its a festool ! Have looked at others but they all seem to heavy especially if you only need to do 5 or 6 cuts on it as some jobs do. I fit kitchens/bedrooms etc so it has to be easy to get out of the van, small enough to fit/use in someones house and have good dust extraction. If any one else can name some other saws then please go for it !
Hi Ben (RinkyDinky) who/what dealer do you use ?

I just shop around, but do favour Toolsave in Oldbury (www.toolsave.co.uk) as my work sometimes takes me close to them and they are a good bunch, but i don't have any decent Festool contacts in Shropshire as yet... i'm just glad that there isn't a showroom here as i would have been arrested by now for dribbling over the tools

I echo that. If you want some excellent Festool advice give RM Hire a ring in Wolverhampton. Roy Tolley is the man to speak to. He has just left Festool UK as an area rep to rejoin the family firm. They have large rolls of paper to mop up any drool!

No connections with either firm. Just a very satisfied, if a lot poorer, customer.
