Just wanted to say hi,I'm new to scroll sawing,and praticing a lot at the moment,I have done a few bits I am pretty chuffed with,I'm not a average female most ladies get excited about clothes and shoes, but I get excited over power tools and wood,don't think I can post pictures yet being a newbie, but will do soon,this forum has been very helpful to a beginner like me so thank you. :mrgreen:

You'll find lots of help and encouragement here, I certainly have.

You should be able to post images soon, please do as we all like to see each others work and I guarantee you will only get positive comments.

ps makes a change to see a lady scroller on here ........ nearest we have is Naz dressing up when his missus goes out! lol 9-)
 
It's brilliant to hear of females who do woodwork, I can never understand why more ladies don't do fretwork/scrollsaw work, it's an art just like painting yet lot's of ladies paint but very few do woodwork. Great to hear from you. :)
 
Hello and welcome jip123 UK. I'm married to a not quite standard lady myself. We don't have the same taste in tools though. I love the lovely old tools like treadle saws and Preston spokeshaves. She lusts after the Stanley Fubar , hammer tacking staplers and old fashioned wrecking bars. Other than her need for destruction , we get on well though , so no complaints. :lol:
You are going to love this lot and all their friendly help. Stop by the Hand Tools ward and enjoy the most charming group of obsessive - compulsives on the internet.
