Looks to be in decent nick already from the photo but obviously for a user it's the use that matters. Any chance of a pic of the sole? Handles look a bit scuffed, could be cleaned up but I'd tempted to simply go over with Danish oil for a user as opposed to one for the collection. It's use that determines if a plane is any good, I bought a "doer upper" Stanley #4 last year, absolutely appalling condition, looked like someone had tried to sharpen the iron with an angle grinder while it was still in the plane. Needed 1/8" taking off the iron (bench grinder for that no matter how much I prefer to hand sharpen) and there is still a chunk missing from the sole. Worth approximately nothing but a nice enough worker in practice.
Well I "discovered" the blade was installed upside down which caused me more than a little confusion :) and it seemed to be "sharpened" with quite an angle across the blade.

The overall it looks good though, here is a pic of the sole which I may try to polish up a little.

The iron might just be adjusted to the side (the lateral adjuster might be to one side). Otherwise, getting it mostly square to the sides isn't too much trouble.
Don't forget to also round the corners or the camber the edge to avoid leaving tracks.

The front and back edges of the sole also look a bit rough, make sure there isn't a burr that could marr the work. It might be worth rounding it with some sandpaper or a file.
