Faceplate

Does anyone know where I can get a 150mm or 200mm faceplate, M33 x 3.5mm, which has brass grub screws to lock the faceplate to the lathe spindle? I have one attached to a home made donut chuck, but want another for out of balance turning. It stops the workpiece running on after switching the lathe off, potentially unscrewing the faceplate!!

Don't have those skills, but could get that done locally if nothing available already drilled.

Doesn't say that this has grub screws.

My lathe launches the chuck if turned off at high speed - I quickly got used to slowing it before switching it off.
(Assuming of course yours is variable speed.)

You could get a 5 inch faceplate ring to go on your chuck - if your chuck has the grub screw, problem solved.
