I love my Wadkins lathe, but it does have the bugbear that the nose thread is 1 3/8" UNC. which seems to be unique to this machine.

Has anyone got any idea who would stock faceplates to fit this - I'm looking for the smaller size - 4" to 6".

What about sourcing some large nuts which have that thread? Then you could make your own?

Any engineering shop should be able to make you one or 2 or 3 in different diameters

Probably cheaper to have 3 made
