Another way to lighten the load is to have apps created (or create them yourself if you have a bit of coding knowledge) so when you publish a blog it automatically lists them to your FB page and twitter.

EDIT: If your sites blog is wordpress or another popular webloging software, there may already be apps that do the above available.
