However it will be no use for ripping 3 to 4" lumber.
Why do you say that? I thought that this thread was pretty well balanced.eoinsgaff":3tjywbox said:Why does this product continue to cause so much trouble on this forum...

Hi guys.
Carlow, If a product is bad no company is going to provide a free and open forum to the customers.
A small and new company can't effort to provide free tools for good reviews to many people. Only three members are receiving free tools but they work in other areas ( beta testing and product development) to payback and the same time they have to use "eurekazone's" name in their signature.
As a matter of interest what projects/applications have you in mind for this set-up.
Imagine all traditional tools combined and made safe due o simple physics. Gravity is free and on the ez-one works with you and not against you. The bridge is a clamping/tracking device and you can position the wood anyway you like. Cross, rip and miter cuts are the same with the ez-one. The same time you can use the same setup as the ultimate track-router system and even as a duplicator/tracer mill.
Its a lot of mula for a few pieces of extruded Alu.
Over 75 lbs and 10 years of designing/testing and improoving.
the same time you get a set of machined bridges ( B-300 )and many more machined components. Sliding brackets, stops, clamps, base, 70" track, etc. If you go to your local machine shop to make one...you may have to pay 10-20 times more?
I have looked at the website and any product which aims to make its name by 'pi**ing in' on an established market, coupled with a US jury decision where the guards were off, is based on a bad premise.
Its this jury system that meant McD's have to tell you on the cup the coffee is hot.
60.000 people have woodworking accidents every year and many of the accidents result in lost digits. For 7 years we don't have one accident reported...yet and we feel very good about it. That was our mission.
The reason I ask about what the application is because it is horses for courses.
This is alright for cutting sheet material that has already been reduced down.
However it will be no use for ripping 3 to 4" lumber.
I have a hilti portable saw with 3m guide and 2 by 10' alu ladders, with a sacrificial sheet which I set up in the garden on trestles for reducing down sheets.

If the product is as good as advertised, and I am not commenting as to whether it is or not, then why do we not see it at the woodworking shows ?
I was at Ally Pally and I will be going to the european woodworking show, and I dont remember seeing the product there, and I cannot find it on the exhibitors list for next week.
I do remember seeing Clifton, veritas, Festool, and lots of others who encourage people to discuss their products, and make up their own mind.
If the product is as good as advertised it will withstand peer review, and flourish, if not, well, we have all see various products come and go...
My own views....

I will be at the show next week and if you want to see the EZ rails then I'd be happy to show you. Let me know and I can stick them in the car.
That goes for anyone else too.
