Are they REALLY anti fog?

Yes, well they are for me anyway.

have you used them outside while getting a bit of a sweat on?

No, I'm just a hobbyist and only use them in the garage / house.

I used to have a pair of cheaper Aldi/Lidl goggles that would fog up. Since getting these I have never had them fog up. I do however only wear them for the operations that I feel need goggles. Pillar drill, Table saw, Router, Angle grinder.

I guess the problem is that everybody is different. People have different usage patterns and also sweat differently.

I've just been out to the garage to test my goggles. If I breath heavily on my glasses the fog takes the count of 17 seconds to clear. When I breathed heavily on the Uvex goggles the fog was clear in the count of 4 seconds. That was a quick test and not very scientific since my glasses were on me in the house and the goggles were out in the garage. But for me that appears to be quick enough dispersal that I have never had fog appear for me in actual use. Unlike my anti fog swimming goggles that are always misted up and it drives me batty. :x

I guess your mileage may vary.

Perhaps it would be worth starting a thread for people to state their goggles brand and if they ever have them fog up. with a good response rate we could probably work out which companies anti fog treatments work the best.

well a little googling came up with that answer - dish liquid, shaving foam or toothpaste - all for the same reason; to reduce the ability of condensation to spall from a nucleation site. (attach to the micro imperfections of the plastic or glass)
