I am not used to bench joinery and seldom done any shop work can anyone elaborate on the use of a cyclone and how to do this thanks :?:

Looks like it will work as is with most hand held power tools, only real problem you will have is if you try to run a thicknesser off it. but only because of the pipe dia
Cyclone is used as a pre separator, the vac filters last for a hell of a lot longer before they need cleaning thus suction is maintained longer
