I'm right on the cusp of taking up Woodworking as a hobby. It's tickled my fancy for a while, but it's only in recent months that I've found myself in the position to pursue this hobby.
I'm lucky enough to have a dedicated 8'x10' shed that I'll be able to convert to a workshop, and once I'm completed the "Basics of Woodworking" course I've signed up for early next year, my first project will be making a workbench to see me through the first while.
I've plenty of tools of various types from over the years, mostly bought for DIY, plus stuff acquired in my past life as a Factory Engineer
, but I'll hold off buying any new kit until I find myself in need.
So yep - looking forward to hopefully joining in and also catching up on past topics
