On the subject of daffodils & spring flowers generally, we've had a very dry March(less than 50% normal rainfall) here which seems to have slowed down everything except the primulas (sp?). But it started drizzling on Tuesday and has carried on (and off) ever since. The difference this has made to the daffs, narcissi, and general new green leaf growth is astounding. Lovely.
If it's the same over there with you Bob then everything's happening at just the right time. Enjoy it all, and "very well done" to both the little lad and to Mrs Bob.
