I have one of the later BLUE switched 96E's and its great, had it well over 15 years I bought a trend T5 as the elu was getting old and the Elu is way better even though its 15 years old.

Yeah the Elu still works.

Hope you managed to sort out the Trend.

Not yet I will have to get on to Trend see how generous they are as its out of warranty now

Steve

I have an elu mof96 also belt sander, bench grinder and handplaner I must have had them all for well over 20 years and cannot fault them so like everyone else I think you got a bargain.

They are great routers Steve I have two and one of them is well over fifteen years old and still going strong. I do have a manual for the router and have posted it here if you want to download it :

@mailee Hi, do you still have this manual & could I get a copy, pretty please with bells on :) thx chris

Well you are lucky Chris I just chanced on this posting as it is such an old one I didn't pay it any mind at first. I do have the router manual and will see if I can sort it out and let you have a copy. I do have the manual that came with the router originally but think I may have it on the computer somewhere. I shall have a look and let you know. HTH.

haha, yes this post was 2/3 years old and there was a plethora of MOF31's being bought, that was what I was researching when I came across it. Thanks I appreciate you taking the time, regards chris.

Hi Chris

If Mailee can't find the manual I would be happy to scan mine.

would it be useful to have a sticky for manuals somewhere?

then they are all in one place. I have often needed to scour the interweb for old manuals...

I had this happen to me on with a bobbin sander recently, the item was much older than stated. I went back to them on it and they knocked some money off. Remember that people really want to keep their feedback rating at 100%.

I would agree with that. I've lost count of the number of Kity K5 manuals I've sent out - no problem but had to go through the ususl "pm me or send email address" posts etc first. A link would be quicker.

If space / bandwidth is an issue, I am happy to host them, as long as you don't mind that there are a few google ads from time to time...
