elektra bekum hc 260 planer thicknesser

does anyone know where to get a flat drive belt for this planer.
i think its the same as metabo but still not sure.
it measures 570mm x 17.5mm x 3.22mm with a calliper gauge.
its a solid rubber flat belt( no ribs).
looks discontinued or out of stock everywhere i looked.

a good fix is to buy a ribbed belt and turn it inside out.....
it'll work fine .....
try online bearing supply places, most do belt at fractional prices of the originals and have direct access to belt manufactures catalogues......
u wont be the only one out there....
Ive used [email protected] with great succes....they post in ones or two's and very helpful on the phone..even post abroud......

I think the Metabo is the same as Record 260PT. Read the note on this link which says flat belt available as well as ribbed shown, maybe worth a phone call. Record Power PT260 Planer Thicknesser Drive Belt SRSPT260 (drivebeltsolutions.co.uk)

just had a reply from a company called spel-gate industrial in east yorkshire.
got to wait for a reply as i asked them about the same time s i posted this question.
they make any size belt, but if they are expensive i will definitely be ordering a ribbed one.
