Can someone with a little bit of electrical knowledge help me.

I have ordered a photocell, to switch a low voltage light on at night time, the customer also wants a detachable lead, the links are posted below, could someone tell me if the amps etc are compatible.

Sorry electrics are not a strong point

Which photocell and what lighting is it switching?

Sorry its the photocell at the top of the page and it will switch on a low voltage light 20w connected through a transformer.

If its any help senior I have the "62528 Electronic Photocell Kit" which switches on my porch light of 100w.

Senior..if you were switching the max load then the short answer is 'no.they are not compatible'. But as you are only switching 20W then it should be fne.

One question...where are you sourcing the socket from for the lead to plug into? Not 13amp...t'other end. Think you'll one of these
