Hello,
I'd like to grain fill an ash guitar body before spraying tinted nitrocellulose lacquer, I've read good things about the rustins oil based filler and it seems to work well under cellulose sealer/lacquer.
I'd like to dye it a very dark brown/black colour but I can't find much info on a suitable dye to stain the grain filler darker? Should I use a spirit based dye or a water based dye?
Thanks
