Dust Extraction

Good evening all
Can you tell me whats the best dust extraction flexible tube or ridged tube
What do you use and where would the best place be to get it from :?:

Apparently, you get better suction/airflow through a ridgid pipe (something like plumber's pipe). That's why people often run these along the walls and ceilings of their workshops, with flexible hoses and blast gates then coming off where required.

Not sure of the best place to recommend but Axminster and Charnwood stock a good range of flexible hoses. Though, it may be possible to buy these even cheaper, if you know where to look?

I would also suggest a clear tube at the extractor end as otherwise it's difficult to tell when the bag is full.

Rigid gives the best performance as the coil fins in the flexi pipe create a resistance.
