Thanks, not my design, a good one I found on line, I need to make a few more.

I bought the black plastic ones from Axminster for my dust extraction system. However they get clogged up on the runner for the actual gate. It is a potch to clean out, so do you get the same problem with your home made ones??

I have a few of those, I bought one of the dust collection kits for the other bits and hoses. The home made ones don't clog as the slot the gate slide in is open both ends, this does leak on the open gate, slightly which stops the clogging. The closed gates don't leak as the slider pulls up on the vacuum and seals.
