I need to fit my recent purchase kity k5 saw bench with a suction outlet for the collector to connect to.
Unless any members has any of the original Kity extractor fittings for sale,
I need an outlet, flat, so i can bolt it to the existing ejection shute with a stub or pipe outlet. This can be 32mm, up to 50mm preferably.
A3" or 4" fitting would need to be reduced because of space restraints and i would like it looking neat and tidy.
Any suggestions as to where such an item is available from, in any size, would be welcome

Thanks for the replies, Egzackerly what i meant! I didn't know what to type in as a query.
APT seems to be the better option for me for the thicknesser. plastic being easier to adapt in my situation.
Are there any available at a smaller size please?
Thanks and regards Rodders

I would suggest taking second thoughts before using such a small outlet for a saw (or any other high volume waste producer)
I had a very similar kity some years back and it had a 75mm outlet at the bottom and was forever blocking up. It only takes a small sliver of waste to start an obstruction.
I would suggest 100mm as a minimum and even then put a coupling near the outlet so you can readily access it to unblock from time to time.

Using 32 or 5omm will end in tears!

I fully agree with you on that M.M. I am(WAS) contemplating cutting a 50mm outlet under the riving knife, right where the jolly old sawdust wants to come flying out. The steel there is pretty thick.
i need to see what fittings are available and strip the saw down again before i do anything drastic!
My plan is to fit a 50ltr dust and chip sucky suck thing underneath the bench, on a very low shelf.
I haven't quite worked it all out yet, it's difficult keeping the pipework clear of the machines.
If not I'll probably do as you say and keep to the 4" outlet on the side, as per original
Many thanks for the reply. Regards Rodders

For my table saw an 8" Kity.

I have a 3" outlet in a box at the bottom and a small outlet in the blade guard both going to a Y adapter then on to the 4" pipe to the extractor.

Seems to work ok.

I find with a good deal of suction under the table the gullets are emptied before they come out of the table again. Hardly any sawdust gets thrown upwards.
You might even want to fit a collection chute under the blade inside the saw to assist this.
Hoses above the table are a PITA unless they go straight up to the ceiling perhaps.
