I'm planning on upgrading my 2 1/2 inch duct system with 110mm soil pipe this weekend, I've got all my connectors, and the soil pipe should be arriving tomorrow.
I'm going to leave the down pipes at 2 1/2 for now and connect them to the 110mm horizontal pipes for now at least and see how it performs.
Has anybody got any tips on installing longish (5m) runs of ducting?

Cheers Rob

I put a temporary bracket on one screw roughly at the end of each pipe length as a support and then worked along the length putting brackets at about 1m intervals and fixing each vertical drop as I went along. I opted for the 3m pipes rather than the 6m length you can get.
A smear of general purpose grease on the push fittings allowed for small adjustments during fitting.

Good Luck

Bob

If you're using soil fitting with rubber seals remember to square cut ends and chamfer pipes. I use 4" angle grinder but file also works just takes longer. And a big aid is to use lube, silicone base works best. WD40 works a treat.
