Has anybody done it and ordered something they shouldn't have ?
Every time I have a good ol few drinks I watch a programme I recorded on freeview. It was on bbc 4 site sessions and it was Tom Jones. I liked him singing anyway but it was his duets with a bloke ' sea sick Steve' that really got my attention. The guy seemed to be so happy go lucky and I thought his whole character was great. Just bought a cd of his from ebay, hoping it will be as good as his duets

Have to confess that if I hear someone new that I like then I go off to the iTunes store and check out the other tracks. More often than not, they are a one hit wonder. But Seasick is in a totally different league.

However when it comes to classical music I finally seem to have 'cured' my impulse buying by having a small text file called 'CDs to buy'. If I hear something I like I stick the CD reference number and other details in the file rather than order it straight away from Presto Classical (who incidentally are a cracking shop for classical stuff). Usually I forget all about it. That gives me more money for proper things like :tool:

Im guilty of that to. What I usually do is 'shazam' music I like but don't know the name of. If I see that I keep shazamin the same tune over and over, I usually end up buying it. I've been caught out before though thinking 1 track is great so the rest of the album must be- sometimes it's really not  only one ebay confirmation email this morning so looks like I got away with it this time :D
Looking forward to his cd arriving !

I've done a bit of drunken buying in the past, mainly cars and bikes. Never actually regretted one of those purchases though.

The best one has to be the Alfa 156 V6 I bought about five years ago. Absolutely mint, 88k on the clock and had just had main dealer service and cam belt. Got it for an amazing £585! Just over half the last service bill

Nice one MMUK, I used to have a 2L twin spark 156, I would loved to have a V6.

Got a 2.2L 159 now.

Last night I had to wire brush all dead ivy from this wall and listened to it 4 times in a row- didn't finish till 10 o clock . Just started really lagging putting on masonry paint, so I've called out the big guns - headphones, seasick steve and redbull :) we've had to put of loads of new studwork and fireproof corridors, so it's all having a lick of paint......to make it look pretty
Coley.
Might treat myself to another of his albums if I last till 1 o clock  has he had any bad ones ? I bought the ' I started out with nothing' cause it was cheapest but will pay a bit more for the next one ;)

I try to never buy anything off ebay after drinking, but fail, often. If selling on ebay, try to get the end time just after closing time Friday or Saturday night :D
