There were a number of people that should have been there - starting with Mr Holtey.... though he was well represented by a number of his planes...

Some Australians are missing - I guess the travelling would have been time consuming and expensive.

Ditto for the "UK" makers/manufacturers. I won't even try to list them, 'cause I'm bound to miss one (*)

(*) anyone else remember Ken Bowers?

As Co-Host with Chris Schwarz I feel that I can comment on the plane event with details.

Karl Holtey, Billy Carter, Darryl Hutchinson, Ian D. and Terry Gordon were ALL invited to the planemakers event.

Karl, with his recent move to Scotland decided that his backlog was simply to great to take the time off.

Billy Carter and Darryl Hutchinson did not want to travel.

Ian D. was indeed on the rig and he has the upmost respect for the British plane makers.

Terry Gordon did not respond till AFTER the event was over

Darryl posted an A31 to go along with the A13 but it still has not shown up.

There is promise of another event next year. Pretty sure that those whom did not come this year will come next.

Thanks
John Edwards
