I've just turned the heating up a notch! Brrrr!
It's been that warm here today that I've been in shirt sleeves, and son and I shut down the C/H for repairs.
I will get the workshop finished, I will I will!

Roy.

Hi Dave
As to your OP yes we get a lot of snow here in Eastern Europe and snow blowers are popular but I choose a snowblade for the Stiga tractor 'cos it seemed a lot quicker and I could get up some steep slopes we have on our property. I didn't fancy pushing a snow blower even it had powered assitance

This year has been incredibly mild, we had three foot in November but it had gone by Xmas and now it looks like we might get to Spring without snow - Now I've writtent that it will probably come down in bucket loads

In the winter of 96/97 in MA we had 108" of snow in total. The snow on either side of our driveway was piled so high that the blower didn't have enough power to throw more on top - it just kept hitting the "walls" and falling back. I had to clamber up on top and hand shovel enough away so the blower could do it's work. Our peach trees were nowhere to be seen - completely buried.

It was really strange driving into a snow lined open tunnel and not seeing the house until you got to the opening that led to the front door....

By eck,

I havent seen snow like that for 20 years. Last time it wqas that bad, my car was buried under 4 foot of snow at work, and I had to walk 5 miles home and back three days running. Them were the days, now back to my bathchair and rug

The lambs are beginning to appear in the fields around us -normally a good sign that snow and grim weather are just around the corner!
