While searching for a table mechanism, the type that when you pull the end of the table it opens up and the centre leaf unfolds, I found this site which may be of some interesthere
But my question is does anyone know where I can find this type of mechanism in the U.K.

Hafele do them so anyone with an account can get you one .

Section 7 page 13 , but thats the 2003 cat , new one is in the workshop . From memory they where around £700 .
Edit ops i was looking at the tv lift thinking it was the same thing

Thanks Jason, I'll use that instead :)

Was at Issac Lord last week and they have a new(to me) plasma lift which is only a few inches deep, works a bit like a periscope, so you can put a cabinet the depth of the lift plus the screen against a wall or wherever.

What was the price tag on that ?
P.S the tv lift has a remote controll :D

Well, yes, very nice but what is wrong with a "normal" butterfly leaf? Self -contained and not exactly onerous in operation. And a helluvalot cheaper.

In truth Steve I have never used that type is it a long process ?

The cost of that lift was about £800.00 Jason, will check when I get to work.
Right I'm off to work now to do some staining, I can do that 'cos I'm awake.

No, and it's not difficult either. A bit tricky to explain, but if you give me a ring I'll talk you through it and send you some photos.

Or come to the bash and you can see it for yourself! :)
Steve

Thank you for taking the time to explain that to me Steve, must admit I had my doubts as to your being able to explain it over the telephone,or me being able to understand, but you did it.
If your forthcoming DVD is that clear and concise it'll be a winner.
