hello all

been thinking about getting this DEWALT DW738 240 VOLT TWO SPEED BANDSAW but before i take the plunge just wondered if any one on here has had any experience with them it will be used as an alrounder to do abit of everything i have 90mm posts i want to rip down do you think this has got the power to do it

Hi there I have this bandsaw and its a good little machine for the price I paid anyway, apart from the fence which is a pile of pants. I have had no problems resawing 6" walnut and oak.

I also have this bandsaw, and would wholehartedly recomend it for a small workshop.

Combined with a decent blade (look no further than Tuffsaws) it will happily rip your 90mm posts day in day out. I've also ripped up to it's max capacity and it coped admirably.

thanks lads just what i want to here been looking for ages sounds like the machine for me now just to get one cheap enough and not miles away
