Just bought the above for my DW713 mitre saw.....anybody know if its supposed to lock in position or just clamp itself...there doesn't
seem to be any way to hold or lock it in the casting hole provided...or have I bought the wrong part!! !:-(

I've got a couple on my saw, haven't used them for a while but if I remember correctly you put them in the hole with the top part of the clamp facing away from you and towards the back of the machine, and then once in the hole in that orientation, rotate them to the front which engages the step on the clamp shaft with a lug in the casting. You can then tighten them down onto the workpiece and they tighten up in the locating holes as you do so.

Cheers, Paul
