That's a good un, I wouldn't mind betting that it sees a few generations that have a use for it.

I hope so Chas, I've always liked the idea of heirloom pieces as a message from beyond the grave to keep guiding them towards a love of wood. I have many things from my own Father, deceased for over 30 years now and they always bring a little smile when I either see his work or use one of his planes or other tools.
