Well, this is a big first for me. I have a stand at Northchaple Steam Rally North of Petworth and South of Chidingfold on the 283 this weekend. I have just picked up the gen for power so That is the main problem sorted. Insurance 3rd party came in the post this morning so thats ok. Just have Friday to sort the rest out. Machines, tent, tools and something that I will forget.
Machines going are Bandsaw, Lathe, P/T, Woodrat, Scroll saw CM Saw and some hand tools. If they all go in the van.
Shall take photo's as I go and post up when I can.
So might see one or two of you there.

Well it's 10 to 5 and the van is now loaded.

Sounds very interesting. Will you be building something at the event or just showing off what these machines can do, how they should be used? Hope it goes well for you. :)

I am impressed at what you have loaded there, 8) do you have a very large son or employ a tame gorilla for loading assistance? :-k
I hope you have a good day, please try and take some more pictures, its looks like it could be interesting. \:D/

I'm glad you pointed out that there was a gate in the back of the van, as I was quickly glancing down the photos I saw the 'gate' with all the white sheets behind and thought - jeez - he's managed to get a bed in there as well! Guess there wasn't a Premier Inn near by!

Thanks for your replies.
Dave I loaded it all on my own.(every one seemed to be doing something ummmm)
Just demo the machine,s and turn one or two quick objects.
The gate is made of oak and two coats of BLO brushed on.
No Inn, slept in the front of van.

So here are this weekends photos.
The stand set up and ready.

It was hard work, packed up and left site at 7 pm just as my local had opened.
I had several inquirers on various work, from house signs to green timber framed garages. So if I get something all very well.
Next one I'm doing is the 5th/6th September.

So you had your weetabix then, :D I am impressed and must be getting old, I would definitely have needed a large son to help with loading that lot.
