Delta Thicknesser Blades

Anyone know of a UK source of knives for the Delta 22-560 thicknesser?
This is the 12.5 inch / 320MM portable unit.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately not. The Delta ones are double edged and the hole config looks to be different.

Appreciate the suggestion though.

They are double edged and the hole configuration depends on the length.
320x19x1 mm would have 2 holes and a slot (most likely)

unless they are 3 mm thick which would be different
If you give me some more info I CAN guide you to the right place.

The blades measure 320 x 12 x1mm and have three oval shaped holes.

Miles, I think that you will have difficulty in sourcing Delta blades in the UK. I had a sense a couple of years back that spares were drying up and did stock up but sadly for you I really need to hang on to mine.

Have you tried going through a Dewalt dealer? Dewalt and Delta are owned by the same people. Maybe they can get something through a special order.

I had a 22-560, until I wore it out. Good machine--I thought it cut better than the Dewalt 734 that I bought to replace it. You do have to check to make sure that the nut holding the cutterhead pulley stays tight. Easy to do, though, by pulling the side cover off.

Try Ebay.com last time I bought some there where plenty of dealers in the States happy to ship to the UK. Like Roger I stocked up on a few sets a couple of years ago, glad I did now because it's an excellent machine and I've been really very pleased with it, the finish it leaves on the timber is excellent. The last stuff I put through it was some wild grained sapele and it came out a treat, regardless of which way I fed it through.

Since Hamiltons stopped being the Delta/P-C importer Toolbank took over things (Delta only) for a short time. Hamiltons came back into the market with the Fox/Delta France brand (all new style products rather than simple re-badging so no 560/580 lookalike). Might be worth calling them in Colchester 01206 798600 as they are usually very helpful and might point you in the right direction or else Toolbank on 0800 0686238.
As mentioned, there's always eBay. There are also various people who stock the correct profile and will drill locating holes for little extra although I can recall any names ATM.
