Has anyone used these? There's a 20% off over a £100 this weekend at Toolpost and I'm tempted.

Pens number three and four. :D

For the longest time Dayacom we pretty much the only supplier of pen kits. Then of course companies went for cheaper Mainland Chinese made kits. Dayacom are still regarded as among the best so getting kits made by them shouldn't disappoint.

thinking of making a few...got loads'a Olive and Almond wood + some spiky/thorny hard wood that I can't find the name of yet but when cut it's a pinky red inside, that also doesn't fade when exposed to the light (well not after 4 months anyway).....so better than the fire this winter........
I'm really hopeless using the web......
looked at u Tube a lot and also don't fancy those nasty looking ultra skiny pens using the press........
just sound n looks like trouble to me.....
During my normal days I use a 25ton hyd press so not inexperienced.....
BUT
as a follow on I don't like those extra fat cigar type pens either.....
Trouble is I live a 1,000miles away from the UK and can't quite just pop round to the shops for a look at suppliers......
So my requirements are a slim to med thick Roller ball pen..
light press work is OK....but quality counts.....
suggestions please....
