OK, I have now spoken to a number of people and things are taking shape.
The date is still September 1st.
The location is now Sudbury Suffolk.
The Workshop is not as large or well equipped as Nick's but you are now officially invited to the DaveL bash.
I have spoken to Mike Hancock (Classic Hand Tools) and he is coming along, if there is anything he sells that you particularly want to see then let us know. He can not promise to bring it, he may of sold them all during the previous week. He is trying to organise a special or two that will appeal to some of our members, but my lips are sealed. :-#
Colin is up for a live veneering demo, will there be screams this time?
I am hoping that some other members will be bring things they have made and/or demonstrate some of their skills. 8)
I have a small marquee booked for the garden in case the weather is not on our side.
Parking will be a little tricky as we live at the end of a cul-de-sac, but should not be a major problem. Sudbury Station is just over a mile away, if trains are your chosen means of transport.
Oh and if you absolutely hate dogs then I am sorry but this is not the bash for you. We have two, Samwise who is quite distinguished (old) and will probably go and find a corner to lay in and then there is Iona. Everybody is her friend, she will introduce herself and be interested in most things that we try to do.
