Danish Oil, Is it safe..

..to use on commercial oak veneered mdf? or is there a risk of the oil affecting the adhesive?

I've used Danish Oil before on AWO veneered mdf, and it was absolutely fine.

Id probably try a hardwax oil,

Less smell and number of applications?

Have been trying to decide for awhile. I lean towards Danish as I've used it once before on a mirror frame.

Just to follow up - I've put three coats of Danish on and no effect on the veneer adhesive.
