Selling my Coronet No.3 lathe. It’s a solid, cast iron beast that’s served me well over the past few years and handles just about anything you throw at it. 12” swing 32” realistically between centres.

  • Runs incredibly quietly and smoothly
  • Swivel headstock and outboard tool rest arm increases ability to turn wider bowls
  • Comes with the original tool rest, tailstock
  • Also included 4” & 6” faceplates, live centre, 4 prong drive centre, ring centre
  • Also included, homemade stand made from steel I beam, very heavy. (I am by no means a welder, but this has lasted several years and seems fine) yours if you want it.
Some cosmetic signs of age but runs as smooth as ever. If you’re after a reliable work horse or a lathe to start your turning journey with, this could be a great fit.

Looking for £300

Could you give some dimensions of the lathe and stand, thinking if I could get it in my wife's Golf hatchback. No rush would be after Christmas before I could do anything.

I'll get out tomorrow and measure. There will be absolutely no issue with the lathe. The stand might be a bit of a stretch for a Golf though.
