Hi

I am looking to convert my tumbler to a flow through system and have been informed I need a needle valve to control the flow - anyone know if these are available in B&Q?

Cheers

Ian

Ian, on the basis of 'if you don't ask, you'll never know'. Is this a shaken not stirred drinking vessel? or perhaps a lapidiarists polishing device.

Hi XY

Yes it vibrates with a media to clean up brass or other metals. The problem is the media needs to be run wet and after so long the water becomes dirty which does not help and I want to make a flow through system to keep a drip feed of clean water going through - thats why I need something to regulate the flow.some sort of valve.

how accurate des it need to be? There was a company that I bought some rootrainer seed modules from at the Harrogate Flower Show (Ronaash, or Ronnash or similar). They had a drip plant feeder that was basically a little tap, but is really good. The chap maintained that it would go from a lutre lasting a fortnight, to full bore. They were something like £1 each- I may have a spare if they sound like it would work.

Hi Marcros

Yes that should do the job - the idea is to add a couple of drips every second or so.

Let me know if you have one.

Best
