Compound Mitre Saw...Which one?

Hi all,i am looking for a good quality compound mitre saw to use in the shop and occasionally on the job.
A mate has recently got an "Evolution Rage 3" which has the capability to cut metal as well with the supplied blade.
I have read some articles where sliding saws are not that acurate,so my question is "do any of you have any experience of this saw or can recommend a good alternative around the £150 mark.

I use it solely for wood cutting, I bought it because it was very cheap (the local B&Q store had a clearance offer, although I see Machine Mart do it now for about the same - £ 149) and I thought I might as well get a saw which wouldn't be destroyed if I hit a nail.

I'm happy with the finish left by the metal cutting blade and the cutting speed, however I haven't found any nails as yet, the blade has only cut wood so far.

I bought a Dewalt 703 CMS at the end of last year and I like it a lot. Accurate right out of the box and adjustable if it gets out of whack. I got mine from B&Q for £169 at the end of last year. It has a 250 mm blade so the cutting capacity is pretty good. Downside (there is always a downside) is that it came with a 24t blade, not ideal for fine trim work, and they don't supply a workpiece clamp as standard. Other than that it is a lot of saw for the money, much better than the lower end sliders that cost a similar amount but are not nearly as accurate.
