Just need to part it off tomorrow

there seems to be a lot missing between 'some dremel work' and 'add a finish'.........

please tell more !

if that's freehand artistry on the sides I am in awe - if not what bottle does it come in? :)

A great step by step, superb for us novices, thanks.
Nice texture, I can only do bark effect so far.
I have to little experience to comment on the form just yet, needs to be off the chuck for me to see it:lol:
Will be interested to see were you go with the foot once its hollowed.
Now that finish on the main vessal looks fantastic, I really, really need to know how you did this.

are you showing how to hollow it out tomorrow, or have you finished it?

This one is just a test piece , not hollowed yet

Depending on the feedback I can hollow the body and lid

I like to make sure the proportions / size / design / finish all work first

The plot thickens, how did he do it,

Will he reveal all

See episode two of how Blister makes a solid urn

Will he reveal all or leave us guessing

Presumably you just created the finish with a quick spray of marble finish? I keep mine next to the tartan paint. ;)

Joking aside, interesting to see how you rough out and turn from a log to an urn - cheers.

i will be intrigued as to how he will hollow it out, going to fetch a chair methinks..

my pound is on tiny specially trained wood munching critters supplied with blueprints. :)

 with the lathe he's got dont be surprised if he mounts a JCB on the bed and does the job
