Sadly it appears that Colin McRae has perished in a helicoptor accident along with possibly a member of his famly.
Don't know if many of you are WRC or rally fans but it's indeed a sad day for the sport and a tragic loss to his family.

It was his 5 year old son who was with him, along with a friend and his 6 year old..

I have been a great fan of his for as long as I can remember and love rallying. What a loss.

My thouhts are with his fmily

It is indeed very sad news, when I was much younger I did a bit of rallying (Club level only) and Colin had just started his career. I never met him but even then rally folk were talking about his ability and personality.

It is even more trajic that his son, a friend, and that persons son also died.
