Cocobolo Box

hello folks

here's a cocobolo box i've made recently- its 2 1/2" wide by 2 3/4" tall

Now that's more like the Cornucopia I know and love :lol: Usual beautiful form, finish etc etc, what more can I say.

Neat little box Cornucopia, like the combination of body shape and lid treatment.

Not so sure about the top-bottom proportion of the split, don't know if it's just my expectations but the lid looks a little deep when assembled but fine when alongside the lipped base.

Confused really, think I expect thirds when assembled but am happy with 50-50 as separate pieces.

If it was mine I would be tempted to put a false 'join' further up the lid.

Sorry if the above seems too presumptive George, just trying to sort out and explain my own preferences to myself I think.
