Just had a quick trawl thru' the Christmas telly, they're showing the 'three wise blokes' on 2 tonite with Steve McQueen on his motorbike on earlier. Even got 'Gone With the Wind' on (.....trying to convince the kids to give it a view, their reply being along the lines of 'what a sad old git' :) )...however the really important thing is....where's 'It's a Wonderful Life', or am I missing somat   - Rob

There has just got to be the usual line up of, The Snowman, Miracle on 34th street, and the Wizard of OZ. Not to mention one of the newer repeats, Polar Express. Mind you if you have Sky Plus you can repeat them all yourself anyway.

I'm delighted with the terpsichorean theme on BBC4 over Christmas. In fact, dance is even pervading the mainstream channels with dramas like Ballet Shoes, Strictly Come Dancing, and some ballet. There may be more but I doubt many people here want a comprehensive list  - unless they're looking for opportunities to sneak into the workshop while the missus is watching telly :? .

Many of these programmes will be recorded onto my hard drive and used to help me design scroll saw patterns later.

:D

I for one am glad the tv is poor as usual, can spend more time making sawdust, and not be missed by her inside the doors.

As far as I can tell "Wonderful Life" has failed to make it into the terrestrial schedules. But then at least Im sad enough to have it in my small dvd collection so it will still be on if I get my way.

Cheers Mike
