couldn't get out to the workshop, door was frozen to frame, so whilst the wife is slaving away in the kitchen I got out my imaging program and painted a seasonal scene.

Now having tried to make something recognisable with an arty program I know how difficult it is.
Well done, may I ask which image program you used, was it a digital pad input etc.?
Again this forum has given me an idea for whiling away the 'too cold in the workshop hours'. Thanks

Hapy Christmas.

My PC supplier bundled PHotoshop CS2 when I purchased the pc three years ago, and being a PSP man I have only opened it a few times.
However looking throught some video tutorials on the web last week (used the painter 11 trial free ) I have found that photoshop is more stable, I use a new layer for every object and the brushes have all come from the brush folder titled Large list.

Perhaps a combination of photoshop and Painter 11 might be the way to go.

PS I could always change the trees to russet colour if you wish :)

You did that with just Photoshop and a Mouse? That's impressive John. Well Done.

Great minds think alike it was to cold for me I used Photoshop CS4 and a Wacom tablet that's excellent Devonwoody with just a mouse...

Very nice indeed DW.

I try, but I really ought to use a stylus.
Maybe for my Birthday? Lol!

Very nice work on the art front, both DW and Lee.

John :D

have to say I've no idea how the heck anyone can produce art work like that - let alone on a computer using a mouse.
Mine you, I've the artistic talents of a dead doormouse.

Another confession, I had painted the scene in watercolour a week previously with an art group and winter scene was the project.
