Cool thing about that place is that everything is free. I put a tablesaw in my basket an began checking out, £5.95 for postage was all.

Does say in the terms an conditions they aren't bound to honor their price errors. But still could have been a bargain!

And any consumer program will tell you that is b******s! But, as that kind of discussion has reared up in the General Chat forum many times, that's all I'm going to say!

Speaking of Charnwood bandsaws, have a look on eBay. The other week, there was a firm selling off one of the larger models with nationwide delivery - I think it was identical to the one Tony bought a couple of years ago.

yeh this is the one up from Tony's, I think. That was kinda where my trail started. I was aimlessly surfing about, looking at bandsaws. The one that Tony has is about 950. This one has nearly double the depth of cut for 50 quid less. I didn't check the rest of the specs, so it might be under powered or something. Still looks like a bargain to me.

not entirely mate -under the sale of goods act they arent obligated to sell it at all (they can just withdraw it from sale)- but if they do sell it they have to honour the advertised/labeled price
