Charnwood W570 12" Thicknesser

Does anyone have one of these?

I was just about to order the Triton TPT125, but noticed the charnwood. From the pictures alone, it looks a lot more substantial, and I like how it has the two rollers on the top which you can use to put the wood on while you go back around to the other side. Not sure why the triton only has one pole there? bit odd?

I've been looking at the thicknessers lately, I think I'll need a new one soon.
The Triton has an 1100w motor, and that puts me off it. Mine currently has an 1800w motor and at full width (10"/250mm) , I won't say struggles but it needs to take a lot lighter cuts. Not that I've hammered it in any case.
I had spotted the Charnwood, this has a 1500w motor. Looks pretty good IMHO.
But I'll be having the Jet from Axminster when mine finally goes bang. It's £340 has a 12" cut width and a 1800w motor. I may be reading too much into the motor sizes, but I can't shake the idea of some of these machines being a little under powered. Best of all it comes from Axminster with their aftersales reputation.

I already ordered the Triton (£225) as I was worried I might not get it before christmas, and the guys at yandles thought it was a more robust machine over the charnwood.

I hadn't really looked at the Jet or Axminster as they're out of budget really. Well, the Axminster certainly is at more than double the price!

Regarding the Jet, interesting, as one of the comments says it is underpowered? yet it's 40% more powerful than the Triton

So the Triton does sound like it could be underpowered now. I have no real plans to use the 30cm capacity, so hopefully it won't be an issue for me.

I must say - I was very surprised to not find any good/in-depth reviews of the Triton on youtube. I was expecting loads!

Im also looking at the Axminster Hobby one for £300+ but is the trade version for £600 really worth the extra money or would a hobbyist like me be fine with the £300 version?
